Primary retroperitoneal leiomyoma: diagnosis with CT

Abstract – A case of primary retroperitoneal leiomyoma is presented with CT and pathologic correlation. CT demonstrated a large heterogeneous retroperitoneal mass with anterior displacement of the left kidney. A diagnosis of leiomyoma was made after excision and pathological examination. Key words: retroperitoneum - leiomyoma - computed tomography.
