prognostico della cistoscopia a 3 mesi in pazienti sottoposti a terapia

Riassunto – 165 pazienti affetti da urotelioma vescicale T1G3, sono stati trattati conservativamente con TUR e chemioprofilassi endovescicale adiuvante sino a progressione o recidiva T1G3. In 91 pazienti (55%) è stata adottata la combinazione endovescicale Mitomicina e Epirubicina alternate. Ad un follow‑up medio pari a 46 mesi, 74 pazienti (45%) hanno presentato recidiva, di cui 23 (14%) recidiva T1G3. A tre mesi hanno recidivato 13 pazienti (7,8%). 13 pazienti (7,8%) hanno manifestato progressione. Quest’ultima si è presentata nel 30% dei pazienti con cistoscopia positiva a tre mesi e nel 15% dei pazienti con recidiva in periodo successivo. Complessivamente sono deceduti 23 pazienti (14%), di cui 9 (5%) per carcinoma uroteliale.Parole chiave : T1G3 - tumore vescicale - cistoscopia a tre mesi. Abstract – One hundred and sixty-five patients with T1G3 bladder urothelioma were treated conservatively with TUR and adjuvant intravesical chemotherapy until progression or T1G3 recurrence. The intravesical alternating mitomycin and epirubicin combination was used in 91 patients (55%). At an average follow-up of 46 months, 74 patients (45%) had recurrence, 23 of whom (14%) recurrent T1G3. Recurrence was found at three months in 13 patients (7.8%), while 13 patients (7.8%) showed progression, which was manifested in 30% of these patients with positive cystoscopy at three months and in 15% with recurrence in a subsequent period. Overall 23 patients (14%) died, 9 (5%) of whom due to urothelial carcinoma.Key words : T1G3 - bladder tumour - cystoscopy at three months. |
