Abstract – Clear cell adenocarcinoma of the urinary bladder is quite rare in males and differentiation from nephrogenic adenoma is still controversial. A 45-year-old man presented with a four-month history of painless, gross hematuria and complaints of non-specific cystitis. Cystoscopic examination revealed a tumour arising from the posterior bladder wall. Histologic examination showed a typical clear cell adenocarcinoma pattern. The patient was treated by radical cystectomy. Key words: urinary bladder - clear cell adenocarcinoma.
