Abstract – We report on a case of incidentally discovered adrenal pheochromocytoma. The potential morbidity associated with a failure to diagnose pheochromocytoma may be significant; an accurate pre-operative diagnosis and medical preparation are mandatory. A lifelong postoperative follow-up is required after pheochromocytoma removal owing to the lack of histological markers of malignancy and the by no means negligible recurrence rates associated with the condition. Key words: pheochromocytoma - incidentaloma - metastases.
